I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching students a variety of different subjects. I am currently attending Johns Hopkins University. I began tutoring when I was in high school, and I have experience tutoring students at an elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate level. While I was in high school, I was President of the National Honor Society. This experience gave me the opportunity to head up a program that helped tutor students in science, math, social studies, and English. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of areas, including algebra, geometry, reading, writing, literature, American history, public speaking, journalism, handwriting, creative writing, grammar and mechanics, Latin, social studies, music, arithmetic, government and politics, and special education. I am also able to help students develop effective study skills and prepare for standardized tests. I am adept at helping many different types of learners reach their academic goals. I can help students in all aspects of applying to college. Specifically, I am able to help students write college essays, prepare for interviews, organize their resumes, and fill out their applications. In my free time, I enjoy watching films, reading, singing, dancing, and meeting new people.
